CALIFORNIA: SR 237/I-880 Extension Project

The SR 237 Express Lanes Extension project (the Phase 2 project for the SR 237 Express Lanes) builds upon the SR 237 Express Connectors Project (Phase 1) and will extend the Express Lanes to the west to the Mathilda Interchange, a distance of approximately four miles. The project will provide congestion relief with a focus on implementing an innovative and creative application (HOT lanes with continuous access) that could be used elsewhere across the county. SR 237 Express Lanes Phase 2 project includes the conversion of the remaining four miles of HOV lanes on SR 237 to express lane operations which extends current project to US 101.

Project Status
