Groundbreaking for the $318 million Boulder City Bypass project in Clark County, Nevada occurred April 6. The project, designed to reduce traffic congestion and improve mobility and safety on a key commercial route, was largely funded (up to nearly 92 percent or $291 million) through the FHWA's Advance Construction Program.
