Together, State Departments of Transportations (DOT) and the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) are making progress on defining the National Freight Network, a transportation network intended to help states direct resources in improving the transportation system for freight movement. The USDOT is reviewing 305 comments on the draft designation of the Primary Freight Network while State DOTs have been engaged in dialog with their partners and developing data-driven approaches to identify freight priorities. |
