Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has declared the week of August 20-26 as Wisconsin Ports Week. As such, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin (TDA) are working together to promote and educate the role that ports play to Wisconsin's economy. The 29 commercial ports in Wisconsin generate approximately $1.6 billion in economic activity and support almost 10,000 jobs. |
