The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is proposing making the crash preventability program a long term program. It was created in August 2017 to examine the feasibility, costs, and benefits of determining and displaying the preventability of certain crash types. FMCSA is seeking public comment on the proposal for the next 60 days. |
