Autonomous trucks may be taking the road in Florida as early as the end of 2020. On June 13, 2019, Governor Ron DeSantis signed a law authorizing the driverless trucks. The law, will take effect July 1, 2019. Companies will be allowed to deploy their systems with no state inspection or certification, they just need to be in compliance with federal regulations. |
