Congestion Pricing Strategies
Congestion pricing projects can be grouped into two broad categories: (1) projects involving tolls; and (2) projects not involving tolls. The links below provide more information about the various strategies within each category, as well as some examples of projects using these strategies.
Projects Involving Tolls
Projects involving tolls are of five types, the first two which involve "partial" pricing of one or more lanes on existing toll-free facilities.
