MassDOT Replaces Community Bridge in Record Time

Description:	The Massachusetts DOT (MassDOT) recently replaced a bridge over a busy stretch of Route 9 in Wellesley in 62 hours, making it the state's fastest bridge replacement ever. MassDOT used accelerated bridge construction techniques and a design-build team to reduce project delivery time, along with an incentive/disincentive contract for crews.
