These opportunities are available in a variety of formats, including courses, workshops, seminars, and conferences. Freight Transportation Industry Internship Program

This program helps public-sector transportation professionals gain a better understanding of issues facing local businesses and industries, opens up lines of communication, and builds relationships with the private sector. Through the program, public-sector participants work with their counterparts in several industries for one to two months. This experience enables public-sector participants to improve their knowledge of local freight transportation needs, challenges, and factors that influence private-sector decision making.
