Social Media Posting Tips and Tricks
When creating social media posts for Crash Responder Safety Week on your association’s preferred platforms, please consider these tips and tricks:
- The sample social media postings provided for each theme are designed to make it easy to participate. Consider tailoring them to name local people, organizations, and events. Feel free to take a different approach to the same daily campaign theme if there's a better local message to share.
- Social meeting postings with links and/or images draw higher number of readers. Where you may not have relevant images from your own work, some partners have drawn royalty-free images from sites.
- Please use the hashtag #CRSW with each of your posts, so the community can find your posts and support them—and you can do the same.
- Worried about not having the resources to post social media items over the weekend? If you don't already use a tool to manage your channels, some organizations have used free tools to schedule posts in advance.
