Public Roads Article: FHWA is taking the lead to enhance the multidisciplinary responses required when problems strike on busy roadways. This is the first article in a series of articles focusing on the nationwide effort to improve responses to traffic incidents, with the two goals of protecting the traveling public and responders and reducing congestion.
