Figure 9 is a map illustrating the location of the reconstruction project on Interstate 123, with the work zone area highlighted in a box. The reconstruction includes freeway connectors between Interstate 123 and Stat Road 456. Interstate 123 includes 4 to 6 lanes in each direction. Because the project will require lane and ramp closures, parallel facilities, Frontage Road, Shell Avenue, Palm Boulevard, and Coastal Highway, have been identified as potential detour routes. These alternative routes are also shown on the map.
