Figure 3 illustrates an upward trend in crash rates in the higher firm size categories. Starting at a crash rate just above 0.02 at the first firm size category, there is a slight dip before inclining to peak at about 0.0355 at a firm size category of 5. At that point the line experiences minimal ups and downs rounding up to just under 0.04 at categories 10 and 11 before it begins a decline to 0.035 at category level 12.
