Description of Slide 8. Policy Development and Implementation Process
This flow chart is composed of 3 steps:
- Develop policy
- Apply the policy to the program delivery stages
- Refine and update the policy.
Step 1, develop policy, includes vision, goals and objectives, and specific policy provisions.
Step 2, apply the policy to the program delivery stages, applies to the following:
- Systems planning
- Project development
- Construction
- Performance assessment
- Operations and maintenance.
Step 3, refine and update the policy, uses feedback from the program delivery stages and provides them with feedback on their effectiveness.
