Figure 1 appears in the Project Specifications and Background section of the page. The figure contains a map of the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area from Vancouver, Washington in the north to Oregon City in the south and from Hillsboro, Oregon in the west to Gresham, Oregon in the east. The map shows the closure of Interstate 84 between downtown Portland and Interstate 205. A row of safety cones depicts the closure. Along the Interstate 205 corridor and along Highway 26 (Powell Street), a series of gray circles depict the recommended alternate route.
