Figure 3

Figure 3 appears in the Operations section of the page. The figure contains a map of downtown Detroit between Grand Avenue to the north and the Detroit River to the south. This same map appeared in an earlier section of the page. The map includes the north-south route of the M-10 Lodge Freeway and the east-west route of Interstate 75. The map contains a black arrow that indicates the flow of traffic off of the M-10 Freeway to Grand River Avenue prior to the Interstate 75 and M-10 Freeway exchange. This arrow indicates that queues formed during the full closure as travelers exited to avoid the Interstate 75 and M-10 exchange. The map shows a loop of road that encircles an area on the map that includes Greektown. The left and lower quarters of the loop contain little pictures of safety cones that indicate the section of the M-10 Lodge Freeway that is under construction. The upper and right quarters of the loop contain small dark circles that indicate the Recommended Alternate route along Interstate 375. The small safety cones meet the dark circles at the bottom of the loop near a bridge that crosses the Detroit River.
