Title:

Field Tests using the Freezing Point of Road Chemicals in Winter Maintenance Operations

Abstract:

The objective of this project was to field test a freezing point temperature sensor, as part of Phase IV of the Highway Maintenance Concept Vehicle Project. The project has performed field tests with a mobile monitoring system for freezing point temperature that detects the temperature at which materials on the road freeze.
