Automated Quality Assurance of Data from the Oklahoma Mesonetwork

Abstract:

During any single, the Oklahoma Mesonetwork records in excess of 13 million observations of meteorological and agricultural parameters. These observations come from an 111-station mesoscale network, which includes each of the 77 counties in Oklahoma. This paper describes how mesonetwork staff calibrate instrument, visually inspect data and utilize an automated quality-assurance routine involving a range of tests.
