Graph shows the increases in mean score in 2008 over the baseline in the response and clearance policies and procedures area. In the category of utilizing an incident command system, the mean score increased from 2.55 to 2.92. In the area of procedures for fatal accidents, the score increased from 2.53 to 2.61. In the area of procedures for hazardous materials, the score increased from 2.89 to 2.73. In the area of quick clearance policies, the score increased from 2.02 to 2.52. In the area of a pre-qualified list for towing and recovery, the score increased from 2.90 to 2.99. Finally, for the use of motorist assist service patrols, the score increased from 2.73 to 2.87.
