ESA Parking and Traffic Tips

  • 1630 AM ESA Traffic Radio is the best source for all traffic alerts and traffic flow changes relevant to the Arena.
  • To avoid traffic congestion, arrival 1 hour prior to event start time is recommended. Paved parking lots surrounding the ESA fill quickly.
  • If arriving in delayed traffic, use Blue Ridge Road to Westchase or Trinity Road and enter by Carter-Finley Football Stadium (Gates A, B, C, F).
  • For traffic delays on I-40 East near Wade Avenue: Travel to Exit 290 (NC 54) and turn left. Follow NC 54 to Nowell Road and turn left. Turn right on Trinity Road and follow to Arena.
  • Plan ahead for heavy traffic on I-40, I-440, and Wade Avenue on weekdays.
  • Uniformed Raleigh Police Officers are available to direct traffic to the nearest available parking entrances.
  • Curbside parking is prohibited around the VIP, East, West, or Loading Dock Entrances. All unattended vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
  • Passenger drop-off and pick-up is available in the VIP Parking Lot Areas.
  • Exact change for parking is appreciated.
