A map showing Milwaukee area events and projects in summer 2002. Several events are highlighted on the map along I-43. Work zones are shown as well. A box on the map lists WisDOT and local projects affecting traffic:

  • I-43 – Lexington Boulevard to North Avenue (3.5 miles). No closures are scheduled between June 27 and July 10.
  • I-43 – National Avenue to Mitchell Interchange (4.9 miles). One lane will be closed in both directions for about two miles between the Mitchell Interchange and Oklahoma Avenue. Also closed will be the northbound on-ramp at College Avenue and the two northbound on-ramps at Layton Ave.
  • 6th Street Viaduct – closed to traffic
  • Park East Freeway – restricted
  • North 16th Street – W. Clybourn St. to W. Wisconsin Ave.
  • W. Wisconsin Ave. – N. 11th Street to N. 20th Street.
  • N. 12th St. – W. Wisconsin to Highland Ave. to Highland Ave.
