This figure shows a snapshot of the Portland Metro Freight Model Dashboard landing page. This snapshot shows the top ribbon of the dashboard which includes dashboard’s name (base year scenario summary), clickable with drop-down menu tabs (overview, Firm Synthesis, Annual Shipments, Daily Shipments, Freight Truck Tours, Commercial Vehicle Tours). In this snapshot, the overview tab is selected (clicked) and shows an overview of the model’s run results including Model Run Date (2017-08-15), Model Runtime in seconds (4.6), Synthesized Firms (72,275), Freight Shipments (18,413), Freight Truck Tours (16,681), Commercial Vehicle Tours (78,054), and Total Stops (203,585). The left pane of the dashboard shows the "About this Document" section which describes the dashboard as a stand-alone interactive document viewable from most modern Internet browsers. It also further describes the dashboard as a high-level summary of an Freight scenario and mentions that all of the data, charts, and maps viewable in the dashboard are embedded directly into the HTML file, so users are encouraged to share their scenario results with others via this document. It is also noted that an Internet connection is necessary for the best user experience, but is not required. It is also mentioned that the dashboard is best viewed using the most recent versions of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Must be running Windows 10). The right pane of the snapshot shows the Portland model region and traffic analysis zone (TAZ) system in a map where Clackamas, OR is colored in green, Clark, WA is colored in orange, Multnomah, OR is colored in purple and Washington, OR is colored in pink.
