Figure 7 is a flow chart illustrating the steps involved to assist the analyst in identifying the most appropriate modeling approach and strategic methodology. The flowchart starts with the work zone analysis scoping worksheet, and includes the following subsequent steps: score work zone factors, identify strategic methodology and challenge factors and resources. If insufficient, the framework goes back to its starting point; while if sufficient, the next step is to select modeling approach and justify.
