Which session did you like most? Why?
- I liked the case studies by Ken & Jim. Wish there were more!
- All were relevant.
- Peer & local information & discussion.
- Case studies in lane pricing.
- Case studies.
- Peer exchange Q&A.
- Peer case studies.
- The sessions on Atlanta and Minneapolis brought best practices that should be evaluated in the Charlotte region.
- Enjoyed case studies in lane pricing (Ken Buckeye) ; understanding real world examples.
- Case studies – provided insight to real world cases, successes, and issues.
- Q&A with the individuals who have implemented projects.
- Local examples – chance to apply lessons learned to local cases.
- Case study & peer exchange; offered real life experience with managed lanes.
- Listening to the speakers from Atlanta and Minnesota.
- Peer discussions; Atlanta, Minneapolis examples with details and follow-up Q&A.
- Case studies – like the real world feedback.
- Case studies/peer exchange – very valuable to hear first hand from owners/operators of systems and being able to ask them very specific questions.
Which session did you like least? Why?
- All were helpful and provided good information.
- None were disappointing.
- I really thought all the sessions were of value.
- Local applications – did not supply enough.
- None.
- Implementation Challenges – seemed mostly obvious.
- First Generation Lane Pricing – Not particularly bad, but if you’re looking to cut something in order to add something else, this would be my suggestion.
What other topics would you have liked covered?
- Dive deeper into the case studies.
- None I can think of. Workshop was thorough and comprehensive.
- Integrating transit into HOV & HOT projects.
- So many local partners would have been helpful to have 1-hour session on/focused on case study and troubleshooting ideas on our own managed lanes programs plans, and work with experts on ideas.
- It would be helpful to hear about congestion pricing that was not successful. This will help determine what not to do.
- More photos and renderings of facilities around the country/the world.
- Would have liked a video showing an actual “ride-along” of a HOT system; just to show the operation of the system.
- More about how the political coalitions/public acceptance were crafted.
- Edge conditions at end of HOV/HOT projects.
- Effects on local jurisdictions/land use.
- Comparisons to other projects in other cities.
- I think it was thorough – more “examples in-depth” would be good, but time constrains this.
- More in-depth information on the operations/maintenance.
- More info on consistency of systems between states.
Additional Comments:
- Overall good session – thank you. Kept things moving.
- Well done! Thanks for bringing the workshop to Charlotte.
- The room was cold.
- Thanks!
- Very well run.
