Figure 3 is a flowchart depicting the workflow process of a configuration approach and the scenarios approach. Configuration begins with either the detailed work plan or model development. Scenarios begins with either detailed work plan or road geometry and maneuvers. Both, configurations and scenarios, flow eventually leads to qualitative and quantitative findings.
