A truck turn is the time it takes for a truck to move through and exit a marine terminal. In an attempt to improve cargo flow, the Port of Oakland made the truck turn times for their port public via their online gateway. The Port of Oakland is the first to make turn times public. Numerous other ports are considering taking similar steps, with Northwest Seaport Alliance already designing their portal. |
