The U.S. Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corp. (SLSDC) has selected six U.S. ports in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System for the increase in international cargo tonnage shipped through their ports in 2015. The Port of Oswego Authority and Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority both in New York, the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority in Ohio, the Port of Green By in Wisconsin, the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority and Port of Monroe both in Michigan were honored. The award recognizes port authorities that facilitate economic activity on an international basis. |
