This bar chart shows the number of bridges on the NHFN organized by age group. There are many bridges between the ages of 25 and 75, and fewer bridges that are either very old or very new. The largest number of bridges (30,602) are 25 to 50 years old. The second largest number of bridges (17,547) are 51 to 75 years old. The smallest number of bridges (54) are greater than 100 years old.
