These include: National Network on National Highway System, National Network not on National Highway System, Interstate (National Network and National Highway System), and Other National Highway System. Interstates and National Network routes that are on the NHS stretch across the entire United States, but most routes are concentrated on the eastern half. The National Network routes that are not on the NHS are concentrated in the center of the United States.
