Summary
The Motor Carrier industry has witnessed both the deterioration and the dramatic increase in road usage. The combination of increased activity coupled with declining resources has led to the almost gridlock situation we now find around our major cities. One has only to travel by truck into the heartland’s industrial cities to witness first hand all of the aforementioned problems. If these conditions are not addressed by a diverse group of stakeholders, the situation will only continue to worsen. CON-WAY welcomes the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with this transportation planning board in improving our country’s highways.
