Description of Figure 4-2. Southern California Priority Corridor Change Control Process

This figure shows the change control process flow for the SCPC project. The requested change is documented in an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and includes an impact analysis. The ECP is then sent for a CW systems integration review and recommendation. At this point the CMS/CMTT reviews the ECP and assigns a class to the change. These classes include the following: (1) new project, (2) scope/cost change, (3) significant no cost/schedule change, (4) minor changes, and (5) NDI/COTS change. Upon steering committee approval, the CMS/CMTT approves or disapproves the change and updates the audit status.
