Description of Figure 3-3. Configuration Control Board Organization

This figure shows the organizational structure of the Change Control Board as outlined in the Southern California Priority Corridor Configuration Management Plan. The steering committee is comprised of two subcommittees: the CM subcommittee (CMS) and the CM technical team (CMTT). A CM facilitator reports to both of the subcommittees. The CMTT coordinates with the regional/development teams.

Regional configuration management is performed by the regional/development teams. Corridor-wide configuration management is performed by either the steering committee for class 1-3 changes, or by the CM technical team for class 4 and 5 changes.
