Summary of Regional Hurricane Traffic Operations Workshops

Abstract:

Three regional workshops, sponsored by the FHWA, were held in the southeastern United States to give representatives from transportation, law enforcement, and emergency response organizations the opportunity to exchange ideas on traffic operations during hurricane evacuations and recovery. Participants from the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas attended the workshops.
