Snow Fence Guide

Abstract:

This guide provides construction plans and guidelines for placement of snow fence for maximum effectiveness and cost-efficiency. It also explains ways to work with landowners to obtain cooperation with a snow fence program, and it discusses considerations involved with use of trees and shrubs to block blowing snow.
