Abstract:

Proceedings summarize highlights from the conference held in December 2000. Sponsors include USDOT RSPA, NASA, AASHTO & National States Geographic Information Council. Themes of university consortia include Traffic Surveillance, Monitoring and Management; Environment Assessment, Integration and Streamlining; Transportation Infrastructure Management; and Disaster Assessment, Safety, and Hazards (DASH). The DASH theme includes flood, fog, snow, tornado and earthquake events.
