Installation of Anti-Icing Overlay US 20 - Eastbound Bridge over Ironwood Rd South Bend, Indiana

Abstract:

A patented thin epoxy overlay system that utilizes a unique aggregate to store and release anti-icing chemicals was installed on a test section of a bridge in South Bend, Indiana. This report describes the instation and performance of the overlay on the test section and provides an overview of new developments with the overlay system.
