Anti-icing and RWIS Technology in Canada

Abstract:

This technical brief provides an introduction to the concept of anti-icing, as well as some of its accompanying technologies including RWIS and thermal mapping. Furthermore, the implementation status of anti-icing and RWIS techonologies in Canada is presented as observed through a survey completed by the AASHTO Anti-Icing/RWIS Lead State Team.
