Appendix G: Summary of ADTT for Various Interstate Volumes and Other NHS Arterial from FHWA VMT Data

Average Daily Truck Travel by State and Major Highways Type, 2011

Appendix G is a summary of 2011 Average Daily Truck Travel (ADTT) for various interstate volumes and other National Highway System (NHS) arterial from FHWA VMT data. Each Geographic location (locations #1- #4) is broken down by state and each state lists the Annual Truck VMT (millions), The Highway System Miles, and the Average Trucks per Day. Each of these categories list the VMT (vehicle miles traveled) for Interstate and for Other NHS, both Rural and Urban. The miles are highlighted in yellow if they are high volume, green if they are medium volume, and blue if they are low volume. The three categories (VMT, Highway System Miles, and Average Truck Per Day) are totaled for each geographic region as well as for all states.
