The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has rolled back the July 2013 revision of the "34-Hour Restart Rule". The results of an FMCSA study suggested that although the 2-night (34-hour) restart provided some subjective fatigue benefits during the rest periods, this did not translate to benefits during duty cycles. |
