Long Beach Ports have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in new automation technology and implemented new procedures to address challenges presented by the arrival of new ships and vessel-sharing agreements. These investments have resulted in trucks being able to pick up and deliver containers at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach more quickly by 40.8 minutes compared to 2014, with a peak time of 55.3 minutes. |
