A newly completed TIGER Project has opened in the Port of Brownsville, Texas, resulting in a 650-foot marine cargo dock and storage. The benefits of this project has brought about major investments which significantly boosts its capacity and capability, allowing the port to compete more effectively with major domestic and foreign counterparts in the Gulf of Mexico. As an emerging regional trade hub and home to several of our Nation's vessel recyclers, the Brownsville maritime industry is a major South Texas job creator. |
