Updated Guidance on State Freight Plans and State Freight Advisory Committees.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law/ Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (BIL/IIJA) added several new required elements and updated procedures for State Freight Plans. This document replaces the prior guidance on State Freight Plans and State Freight Advisory Committees, issued on October 14, 2016. This document includes the prior and new minimum required elements that State Freight Plans must meet and suggests recommended, but optional elements that States may include in their State Freight Plans. The updated Guidance on State Freight Plans and State Freight Advisory Committees has been posted online here: https://www.transportation.gov/mission/office-secretary/office-policy/guidance-state-freight-plans-and-state-freight-advisory BIL compliant freight plans can be found on the browse all current State freight plans https://ops.fhwa.dot.gov/freight/fpcb/toolkit/allplans.aspx Web page and by selecting the desired State.

INFRA Program
The Infrastructure For Rebuilding America (INFRA) program, implemented under the Nationally Significant Multimodal Freight and Highway Program, is a discretionary grant program that provides dedicated funding for freight and highway projects of national and regional significance that address critical issues facing the nation's transportation infrastructure.
Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Transportation Discretionary Grants program
RAISE-BULID-TIGER Programs
The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grants, which is a continuation of the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant program, in ten different funding rounds since 2009 for surface transportation projects that will have a significant impact on the Nation, a metropolitan area or a region. Altogether, a total of 512 projects in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have received nearly $7.1 billion for capital investments in surface transportation infrastructure. On April 16, 2019, the Secretary announced the availability of $900 million to be awarded by DOT for the BUILD 2019 transportation grants program.

Truck Parking Survey
Truck parking shortages are a national safety concern, and can contribute to safety issues due to fatigued drivers being unable to find parking areas to rest and to drivers parking in unsafe locations such as roadway shoulders, exit ramps, or vacant lots. To address these concerns, MAP-21 required the Jason's Law trucking parking survey, which examined states' capability to provide truck parking, assessed of truck volumes in each state, and developed a system of metrics to evaluate parking.
