Work Zone Fatalities Decrease 14 Percent From 2007 to 2008

Description:	According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS), in 2008 there were 720 fatalities resulting from motor vehicle crashes in work zones. This is a 14 percent decrease since 2007. Since 2005, the number of fatalities from motor vehicle crashes in work zones has steadily declined.
