U.S. DOT Announces $5.2 Million For Innovative Highway Bridge Improvements in 14 States

Description:	The FHWA Innovative Bridge Research and Deployment program issued more than $5.2 million in grants to 14 states to promote the use of innovative technologies in highway bridge construction and repair. The program promotes more widespread use of effective and beneficial technologies and applications, such as a bridge using prefabrication strategies to save drivers many hours of congestion that can come from prolonged bridge work.
