Progress on planned activities:
- The "I-30 Value Pricing Pilot Program for the Dallas District" final project report has been posted. Additional Post-Opening Metrics are also posted for April-June 2010.
- Construction of the IH-30 and SH-161 (Toll road) interchange will be underway for the next two plus years. This may affect the operations of the lanes in that area.
Activities planned for the future:
- TxDOT and the region continue to look for full funding of the next phase to implement the pricing components of the project. This approach is focused on using a "Pass-Through-Tolling (Financing)" Agreement. The Region funds the construction and the department pays a portion of it back over time based on the traffic that uses the facility. There project will also collect revenue from the managed lanes.
