Vacancy Announcement for the FHWA Road Weather Management Team

The FHWA Office of Operations has just posted a vacancy announcement for a GS 13/14 Transportation Specialist to work on the Road Weather Management Team. The Transportation Specialist will be a nationally recognized expert in the development and implementation of solutions that alleviate the impacts of adverse weather upon highway operations. This position is ideal for a mid-career professional with experience in road weather management and one of the following: systems engineering; meteorology; computer science; performance measurement and/or economic analysis; and training, outreach, and technology transfer. The announcement closes on September 8th.
