The Chief Operations Officer is at the top and is immediately followed by the Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Both are part of the Transportation Security Operation Center (TSOC). Coo Administration and COO Budget falls under the office of the Chief Operating Officer as well as five Program Offices. They are:

  • Office of Law Enforcement
  • National Explosive Detection Canine Team Program
  • Persons with Disabilities Program
  • Domestic Nuclear Detection Office
  • Special Operations Coordination

Four areas fall under the office of the Chief Operating Officer. They are:

  • International Programs
  • Transportation Security Intelligence Service
  • Compliance Programs
  • Intermodal Programs

The Director of Operations is above the Chief of Staff and also has five operations under its authority. They are:

  • Emergency Preparedness
  • T-COP
  • TSOC Operations
  • TSOC Ops Support
  • Readiness

The Director has three areas under its authority. They are:

  • AFSD LE
  • Liaison

The Director has three branches under its authority. They are:

  • Operations Branch (National Canine Coordinator)

The Assistant Administrator has the Director - Human Resources & Overseas under its authority. Also, three major areas are under its authority, which each have subdivisions under its authority. They are listed below with their subdivisions.

The Assistant Administrator, followed by the Deputy Assistant Administrator, oversees four areas. They are:

  • Intelligence Information Systems (IIS)
  • Executive Officer & Resource Management
  • Intelligence Operations (IO)
  • Intelligence Assessments (IA)

The Assistant Administrator, followed by the Deputy Assistant Administrator, oversees six program areas. They are:

  • Mass Transit Programs

The Assistant Director also has a Chief of Staff and Cross Modal Programs under its authority.
