Regional ITS Architecture Process SeminarHow do I get an Architecture Process Seminar for my region? Contact your FHWA Division office or FTA Region office ITS Specialist and request the Seminar. **Preparations should begin about 45 days before the seminar. Seminars are FREE to all public sector participants and their private sector consultants under contract for architecture development. Participants are expected to be familiar with local ITS projects, their region’s planning processes, and the National ITS Architecture. Puzzled about how to develop your regional ITS architecture? Unsure how the new Federal requirements relate to regional ITS architecture development? If so, this might be your answer... The U.S. DOT is pleased to offer transportation professionals an opportunity to participate in a 1-day seminar that will equip you with the information you need to develop your own regional ITS architecture. Participants will include “ITS Champions” and key stakeholders from a region. This is not a training course, but rather an interactive seminar. Seminar ObjectivesThe seminar will focus on the six-step process described in the Regional ITS Architecture Guidance Document for developing, using and maintaining a regional ITS architecture.
