Traffic Incident Management Performance Measures
The FHWA will undertake a new initiative in 2005 to improve performance measurement for Traffic Incident Management programs. This initiative will involve transportation and law enforcement partners in eleven states. It will seek to standardize definitions and look for ways to link data in databases that these agencies maintain to enable comprehensive assessments of program performance.
