The South Dakota Department of Transportation has presented their 2014 State Rail Plan to the state's Railroad Board. This plan addresses both freight and passenger rail, and includes an inventory of the existing rail system, analysis of needs and issues, and recommendations for 27 rail projects totaling $455 million for rail-related improvements. |
